Darwin Represents Seller of Franklin Park Industrial Building
(Elmhurst, Illinois – June 5, 2015) – Darwin Realty is pleased to announce that Darwin’s Rick Daly represented the seller, CenterPoint Properties, in the investment sale of a 263,668-square-foot building located at 2425-2553 Edington Street in Franklin Park, Illinois to a private investor who is expanding their portfolio.
Situated on 13.43 acres, the property benefits from close proximity to North Avenue and Grand Avenue. The building features heavy electric power, heavy loading, and food grade cooler space.
“At the outset of the marketing campaign, the building was 55% leased and we quickly secured a 52,000 square foot tenant, Sutton Transport, which increased occupancy to 75%,” said Darwin’s Rick Daly. “The buyer was attracted to the property due to the low vacancy in Chicago’s O’Hare submarket, ample local labor force, abundant trailer parking and flexible space for multiple tenants.”
