Darwin Represents Expanding Logistics Firm

Deal highlights more positive absorption in Chicago’s Industrial market

(Elmhurst, Illinois) – Darwin Realty is pleased to announce that Adam Haefner, Vice President of the firm has represented MWD Logistics, Inc., a third-party distribution firm in the lease of 115,200 square feet within a 259,680 square foot building at 1480-1540 East 97th Place in Chicago, Illinois.

MWD leased this additional space as part of an expansion of its business within the Calumet Business Center where it already leases 90,625 square feet of space in an adjacent building. The property is two blocks south of 95th street, east of the Bishop Ford Freeway, and west of Stony Island. The complex offers excellent expressway access, close proximately to downtown and suburban Chicago as well as Indiana, in addition to good loading and ceiling heights.
